Mr. Senapaty joined DW in 2012. Prior to joining DW, Mr. Senapaty spent two years at GoldenTree Asset Management as a Portfolio Manager in the Structured Products Group focused on trading RMBS & other structured products. Before GoldenTree, he was with BlackRock as Portfolio Manager managing mortgage assets for the Financial Markets Advisory (FMA) Group. In this role, he advised and managed over $80bn of mortgage assets, with approximately $60bn that were non-agency RMBS. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2008, Mr. Senapaty was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Bear Stearns (2002-2008), where he oversaw and managed the Securitized and Rates sectors for the Institutional Fixed Income team that managed over $14bn in assets. In addition, he was a key senior member of the Fixed Income Strategy Committee where he was responsible for developing the team’s macro-economic outlook and investment themes. Mr. Senapaty began his career in 1996 at the National Stock Exchange in Mumbai, India, where he was involved with variety of projects including creation of India’s first on-line derivatives market for equity-based futures and options; designing a money market reference rate & a mechanism for estimating a sovereign zero coupon yield curve. Mr. Senapaty holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and information systems from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani (India) and an MBA from Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University.
