Mr. Mackin joined DW Partners in 2017. He leads DW’s new business development. For over two decades, he has focused his efforts on smaller alternative investment specialists, most recently at Protégé Partners where he completed his tenure as President. Mr. Mackin began working in alternatives at Lazard Asset Management, completing his eight years at the firm as the Co-Head of Alternative Investments Marketing for the Americas. The first ten years of his career were spent at MetLife, where he worked as an Analyst and Assistant Portfolio Manager in their Real Estate division followed by client service and sales directorship positions in MetLife’s Pension Group. Mr. Mackin has an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University and a B.A. in Economics from Bates College. He is also a CFA charter holder.
