Mr. Valdes joined DW Partners in May 2015 to build out the infrastructure and operational processes following DW Partners’ full separation from Brevan Howard. Prior to joining DW, Mr. Valdes spent nine years as Deputy Head of Operations at hedge fund Blue Mountain Capital Management, where he was instrumental in building out its operational platform from a $2bn to $20bn asset manager. Prior to Blue Mountain, Mr. Valdes spent three years as an Analyst in the Graduate Training Program at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Valdes received a BA in Economics from Rutgers University.
