DW’s RMBS strategy is led by Amit Senapaty, a 27-year veteran of the Fixed Income markets. Throughout his career, Mr. Senapaty has managed multi-billion dollar portfolios of RMBS and other structured products over various market cycles. At DW, non-agency RMBS has been a core activity since inception. The strategy is focused on bonds that offer asymmetric payoffs due to a myriad of catalysts and deal specific nuances.

DW’s CMBS strategy is led by Aaron Bryson, a 25-year veteran of Commercial Real Estate analysis and portfolio management. The pandemic, and the resulting uncertainty about office, retail and hotel usage and profits has created fresh opportunities to invest in mezzanine CMBS bonds. The strategy seeks asymmetric, high absolute return bonds with reasonably near-term catalysts for price appreciation.

DW’s U.S. homebuilder finance effort is led by DW co-founder Bob Clark. Since 2015, DW has financed US homebuilders and land developers in the horizontal stage of new home construction. Under our brand name “Domain”, DW has originated more than 340 financings comprising over $7B of project costs. The Domain Team has nationwide industry experience and expertise in the sourcing, financing, and managing of homebuilder development and construction.

DW’s CRE direct lending business is led by Aaron Bryson, a 25-year veteran of Commercial Real Estate. Since 2014, DW has directly originated ~$1B in bridge loans collateralized by US commercial real estate.  Today, the DW CRE Team is focused primarily on mid-market multifamily and residential condo loans. Deal types include rental and condo construction, pre-development/land, condo inventory and transitional/adaptive re-use of office and hotel.
